What sets King components apart is their attention to detail. There are many other lock rings on the market, but Chris King wanted the wheels to have a lock ring that matched their quality, appearance, and functionality. In essence, they weren't satisfied with thinking they could do something better. The King lockring is made of aluminum with a steel crush washer and features the classic King laser mark that matches our headsets and rims.
In addition to the slim shape of the front, the knurling on the back has a very specific shape, which allows the ring to be easily screwed on but prevents it from loosening.

Producer's note: The Chris King Centerlock Lockring follows Shimano's standard dimensions, with a 4 mm thick flange and an outer diameter of 44 mm. This design is compatible with all mountain bike forks and frames, as well as many road models. However, some road forks and frames require thinner lockrings with internal grooves. We recommend checking the clearance on your bike before placing an order.
