Bikone Powerset T47 24 mm Ceramic UAE bottom bracket

PowerSet T47 compatible with T47 frames bikes for Shimano cranks. Loads supported by the bearings in the bottom bracket are transmitted from the spindle through the balls. In normal cartridge bearings, the lower balls are the ones that support the entire load. The patented POWER SET® system ensures all balls support equal loads. Thus, guaranteeing a smooth pedalling and a greater durability of bottom bracket bearings. Angular contact ball bearings:  support both axial and radial loads. These bearing types cannot be separated; therefore, they are mounted in pairs. In a standard single row radial ball bearing, only 3 or 4 balls make contact when pedalling. But with the patented preload system, all balls are engaged, spreading force over a larger surface, decreasing friction, and minimising wear.

FullySealed
Every dust particle or water droplet is a potential cause of bearing noise or wear. That is why all the bottom brackets are fitted with up to five O-rings to keep dust, water, mud and moisture out of the bottom bracket.

Axial Seals
All the bearings are fitted with not one but TWO seals to protect against dust and moisture ingress. This section is crucial for maximum durability and performance of the bottom bracket.

7075-T6 aluminium
Aerospace quality and precision in one of the most capable aluminiums. Moreover, Bikone has developed a particularly scratch-resistant matt anodising with a finish that would be worthy of any art gallery.

T6 heat treatment
For most aluminium alloys: 6061, 6063 and 7075, the best heat treatment is T6. The T6 heat treatment delivers increased hardness as well as other mechanical properties such as normalisation of its grain structure. This guarantees that all the aluminium products will perform perfectly throughout their service life.
