The T47 threaded bottom bracket shell uses an oversized interface of PF30 and EVO386, but with the advantage and peace of mind of a threaded interface. T47/68 positions the bearings outside the frame width and is compatible with 68mm wide T47 Outboard frame designs. T47 is a standard created by custom frame builders. It is threaded, has an internal diameter of 47 mm and is 68 mm wide. It has the design advantages of being oversized and wide, but also the practical advantages of threads.
The caps have CeramicSpeed bearings pressed into them. There are two bearing options. The standard bearing has CeramicSpeed balls and hardened steel raceways. The coated bearing has the same balls running on a 3 micron thick coating over those hardened steel raceways for longer life and even less friction.
